Hi from Lucknow - welcoming you to the wonderful world of numbers
Hi Everyone,
I'll be your facilitator for Maths in the upcoming professional development session.
I am an MBA and have worked for organisations like Mahindra and Mahindra and TATAs before I joined the most challenging , creative and rewarding job - that of a teacher !
I had grown up thinking that I was pretty good in the subject ( a result of illusion of learning because of the relatively good grades that I managed to get). However, the questioning culture we had in our class soon made me realize that I wasn't prepared for the insightful and critical questions that the students had.
The endeavour to improve my teaching led me to rediscover my relationship with Maths and I hope that through the sessions that we have together ,I will be able to initiate this rediscovery process for all of you.
I'm looking forward to meeting all you wonderful teachers and learn with all of you.
Amit

New Workshop at Pratapgarh
Dear (new) Teachers,
Welcome to our small community! We look forward to seeing all of you next week.
Please bring your XSEED books or textbooks if you do not teach XSEED curriculum. For XSEED, bring all three copies- readers, teachers' copy (with lesson plans) and students' copy. If you teach more than one standard, bring books for AT LEAST 2 standards (one lower and one higher). Same for textbooks. This is for ALL teachers.
See you all very soon!
