LP Alingment Maths Grade 7



This entire lesson is aligned in term of AIM - ACTION - ASSESMENT.
The Aim is aligned with the action and analysis.
The Students will solve problems based on addition and subtraction of like and unlike fraction.
The Assesment is designed containing various types of questions based on addition and subtraction.

Thank you for posting.
The LO is clearly written but I have some questions for your reflection and some questions because I am not clear from your lesson plan what exactly happened?
1. After you wrote the question on the board, did you use the guiding questions to solve the problem as a whole class or did kids work in groups to use problem solving to figure out the different ways to solve the problem?
2. You mention use of manipulative but as a demo.So was it you or the students actually using the manipulatives? Again, was this as a whole class or in small groups?
3. I am not clear what the HOTS analysis question has to do with the problem you gave or how it is related or how it is even HOT? Was it even necessary to do this part?
4. In the entire period, did your class solve only one problem? Could there have been a way to do more than one problem and to get the kids more involved in the process?
5. let us assume the assessment question is aligned to the LO (as I cannot see it here), what if a kid cannot solve it? What will you do next?What if MANY kids cannot solve it?
