Thanks for posting this. While there is nothing wrong with your lesson per se, I would like you to reflect on the following two questions.
1. Is there something you could do to get the definition of energy from the kids themselves before you give it to them. This will make the lesson more student-centered and constructivist.
2. Since your assessment questions are a bit higher order, what do you plan to do if you find that some children have not answered them correctly, because that would indicate that they have not really understood the concept of energy. Can you design an active experimentation type of lesson plan for the same?
