Udaipur Dates

Dear Teachers,

We are happy to announce that the dates for our next module have been fixed. We will be meeting in Udaipur on June 23rd, 24th and 25th.

Since now is the end of the year and you may not get the chance to go back to school before the training please read the following carefully.

Things to carry with you to the training

1. Textbooks

2. Xseed books

3. Think about a success story you  want to share with other teachers. This story should be related to any of the strategies from the last module that you may have tried successfully in class- writing/reading strategies, graphic organizers, strategies used to change the culture of your classroom, new routines introduced, using kolb's model to plan a unit, Cornell's notes, planning backwards with clear learning outcomes, etc.. You MUST bring with you a concrete piece of evidence to support your story- this could be student work, lesson plan, assessment, unit plan, feedback by principal, photos, videos, etc. The evidence is COMPULSORY. No need to make a ppt but be ready to share.

PLEASE SEE blog post entitled - CELEBRATING SUCCESS for an example of what we are expecting.

4. If you have notes from last time, bring them.

This time we will have two new facilitators as both Aditi and Mansi are unavailable. Please  let me introduce Sangita Kapadia, who is my partner and Aanchal Luthria who is the Academic Support teacher at my school. Both are excellent facilitators and were with the Mumbai cohort.

Leaders, please ensure teachers come ready with everything needed.  It may help to do  a quick recap before school ends in your own groups:)

See you all soon !!
